Hi Richard,
It is our intent to write dedicated code for each database (this is
actually not too much work, we've done the postgresql driver in a few
days). ODBC is really slow and can't utilize specific features of a
database to the most extend.
Best regards,
Eelco

Hi,
I'm running DBMail with Postfix right now, and apart from some minor
IMAP issues, it works well.
What I'm wondering about is running under a different RDBMS. Eg, SAP DB
or Oracle. To support a wider range of databases, would it make more
sense to write an ODBC version, or to continue with the dedicated code
per db, and extend that to support a new db?
