Hello --

I've installed previous versions of dbmail on my Linux machine, but when
trying to run 'configure' for the 1.1 release I get:

checking for mysql.h... /usr/include/mysql/mysql.h
checking for mysql_real_connect in -lmysqlclient... no
configure: error:
  Unable to link against mysqlclient. It appears you are missing the
  development libraries or they aren't in your linker's path

I saw the thread from a few days ago about this problem on a FreeBSD
box, but there really wasn't a solution, and since I was able to compile
it before I don't know what to do.

PS - This all started because all of a sudden I'm seeing errors in my
maillog:

Jun 11 09:17:37 www dbmail/smtp[20252]: insert_messages(): error
inserting msgblock [header]
Jun 11 09:17:37 www sendmail[20251]: h5BDHag20250: [EMAIL PROTECTED],
ctladdr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (506/506), delay=00:00:01,
xdelay=00:00:01, mailer=DBM, pri=31543, relay=www.alnm.local, dsn=4.0.0,
stat=Deferred: DBM mailer (/usr/local/sbin/dbmail-smtp) exited with
EX_TEMPFAIL

Thanks!
