Oh! I wasn't paying attention, you're sending it from the same account the alias is pointing to.
I wonder if the email is getting an extra line added to the beginning somewhere which is throwing off your mail client. I don't use it myself, but I think I remember hearing this happens when people use procmail sometimes.
