Hi All,

I am almost ready to release my test server into a development environment
(just waiting for dbmail 2.0 final), and have been writing documentation on how
to set my server up.
Someone on the dbmail list said i should be using innodb because it is much
better and it is supported by MySQL 4.x, so i switched to using this without
any problems.

The only thing that is worrying me is the my.cnf setup. I want to optimise the
setup for my system (if this is possible), but also people on the mysql.com
lists have been talking about the
data files and how big they shoud be, and whether they should be autoextending
.... and how all this affects making/restoring from backups!!

Not being much of a mysql whizz i was hoping someone would be able to give it
to me in black/white or just give me some things to dump in the my.cnf.

I know this is not strictly DBMail related, but i have been trying to post to
the mysql list, and my e-mails aer not getting thru for some reason!

Cheers
James

P.S: sorry for all the babbling.
