Hello All.
It might help testers to know that DBMA (DbMail Administrator) V2.0.5 will access all mail in the database from the user account window.

Typing the user_idnr, name or email address in the main menu's search box brings up the user account in which, among other things, is displayed a list of that user's mailboxes. Clicking the mailbox icon brings up a technically detailed list of all mail in descending order displaying physmessage_id, message_id, internal_date, unique_id, rfcsize, blockSize etcetras. This is not an end-user item but a serious troubleshooting aid. DBMA will even fetch for header examination any of the messageblocks.

I found this quite useful for tracking a problem wherein mail marked for deletion was not getting dropped which I quickly solved thereafter. It may also be helpful for tracking mail in new installations, testing forwards, aliases and so on without having to create accounts in an email client.

These new features use some modules from DBMW (DbMail WebMail) which is a developmental PERL WebMail programme set to be released late September, early October. Later...

DBMA is available at http://dbma.mobrien.com/
Please help yourself.

best...
Mike
