  Well, that's the way it's supposed to work - ie. deliver_to set to the
user_idnr for dbmail delivery -  I just thought maybe a last-ditch lookup
was made for a matching username in 2.x (which may or may not be a good
thing to add .. seems safe if the alias and deliver_to are identical).
If you create an account with only an external forward, does it work?
Ie. do external forwards *ever* work?  Perhaps it's just something set
wrong in your sendmail path in dbmail.conf or otherwise in your local
outgoing mail?
