Hi, thanks for your Answer,

Using the debs is not possible with Debain woody

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of dbmail-mysql:
dbmail-mysql depends on libc6 (>= 2.3.2.ds1-4); however:
 Version of libc6 on system is 2.2.5-11.8.
dbmail-mysql depends on libssl0.9.7; however:
 Package libssl0.9.7 is not installed.
dbmail-mysql depends on zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.1); however:
 Version of zlib1g on system is 1:1.1.4-1.0woody0.
dpkg: error processing dbmail-mysql (--install):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
dbmail-mysql

So i try to make my own build.

Bye Christian

Hi i had installed dbmail 1.2.8 as .deb from woody.
I try to upgrade to 2.0.3. First i run configure with ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-mysql and make.
I stop the old dbmail-daemons and then i run the migration Script.

When i fire up the new pop3 and imap daemon from the source directory nothing happens. I get this error in the mail.log. Jan 21 16:04:55 obelix dbmail/imap4d[553]: SetConfigItems(): value for NCHILDREN is invalid: [0] Jan 21 16:11:38 obelix dbmail/imap4d[584]: SetConfigItems(): value for NCHILDREN is invalid: [0] Jan 21 16:13:42 obelix dbmail/imap4d[601]: SetConfigItems(): value for NCHILDREN is invalid: [0] Jan 21 16:15:04 obelix dbmail/imap4d[1663]: SetConfigItems(): value for NCHILDREN is invalid: [0]

This is the value in the dbmail.conf
NCHILDREN=5

has anyone a idea?

Thanks
Christian
