Hi All,

I've just completed an installation of dbmail on Suse linux 9.2.

I have now got everything working and I'm very impressed.
All the clients are using Mozilla thunderbird on both Linux and M$, and the setup has been very easy.

Many thanks to all the the developers !

I do have a few questions that have cropped up after the installation that I could not find answers to after searching the mailing list.

1) How can I list the aliases for a user using the dbmail-users tool (if that is the right tool to use ) ?

dbmail-users -l someuser

will list all aliases for given user.

But take note that: dbmail-users -l [EMAIL PROTECTED]

will show only the *first* user who has given address as an alias.

This will change in 2.1.0 in two important ways:

1) output from dbmail-users -l will be more condensed to emulate the format used in getent (try getent passwd on your system). 2) output from dbmail-users -l [EMAIL PROTECTED] will list *all* users that have an alias for that address in the same format mentioned in 1)

Both combined will allow better integration into shell scripts.

One thing still missing is an easy way to list external forwards...

2) Is there a webmin like interface to dbmail yet ?

None I know of... Though people are using sets of custom commands in webmin to manage their setup. Word is it works pretty well.
