Usually i have a postfix and courier imap server. But now i thought i would use
dbmail
since its database based, to see how it is.

Anyway, i would usually use maildrop or procmail to filter all the email marked
as spam
to a certain folder. But since the emails are stored in dbmail and not a
maildir like it
is in courier, i just don't know how this is gonna work.

I would like to install spam and virus filter and individually filter the mail
in
separate folder of the users email. I don't know what i can use to do this.

I read people use amavis, but there is no complete howto, especially for dbmail.
Also i don't know how to run sa-learn for bayes teaching the spam, again since
its all
in db and not stored on file.

Since I've used dbmail i found my server to be quite fast and responsive,
however there
is also the whole complication of not accessing the email directly.

Does anyone know of a good, complete, howto to get dbmail working fully, with
all the
spam/virus stuff working. I really need to get this working, or else i would be
forced
to go back to a more conventional server.

Once again, the work that has been going on in dbmail is amazing, i haven't
tried the
unstable version yet but i will once i see sieve is in working order, because
that would
be absolutely amazing.
