I would like to know....after finish copying all the existing mails from
some other imap server to dbmail, when a client connects to the new dbmail
server, will the client need to resync (and possibly download again?)
everything in his mail folder? coz afaik the unique id of the mail would not
be replicated...

imapsync seems to be working great. Currently in the process of

but for some reason it transferred the messages out of sequence making
