You won't be losing any mail. But don't run it on your HA production systems
yet. There will be some memory leaks in there, and the process pool code has
undergone some recent updates (already in the 2.0 svn branch). But 2.1 is not as
feature complete as I would like: especially speeding up searches by using the
new header tables is work-in-progress. Also the old mime parser *has* to go
before I can freeze 2.1 development and start working toward 2.2.0.

Not before all this code is completed (in all three officially supported
databases), and the documentation is updated, and everything is well tested can
we start calling the 2.1 tree stable and supported.

And since I'm doing all this pretty much on my own (with help from some people
on the list), it wont happen overnight.
