We have been testing DBMail + MySQL + PostFix for some time. Our plan is to deploy DBMail in a large installation of 200K+ users. So far everything is working great. I do have some questions to ask of this list:
What are the largest known dbmail production installations and would the administrators of these systems be willing to share their insight and experience? Does anyone have any statistical or benchmark information that they can share? (like db size to number of accounts, lmtp transaction performance) What are the MySQL config parameters (or postfix, or dbmail) do you suggest modifying for a large dbmail installation?
