No. Not at this moment. It would provide a nice framework to implement the management aspect of a new feature I've been thinking about for post 2.2 development: distributed storage. Distributed storage means dbmail would support more than one database backend. Consider a scenario where datastorage can be spread over more than one database server. Combined with capability to move users from one storage server to another, this would provide virtually unlimited scalability for dbmail. Think tens of thousands of active users, multi-terabytes (petabytes?) of storage, thousands of concurrent imap connections... A (shared) addressbook would be a different (no less interesting) matter. -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul Stevens paul at nfg.nl NET FACILITIES GROUP GPG/PGP: 1024D/11F8CD31 The Netherlands________________________________http://www.nfg.nl
