Actually disregard these comments.... I've been searching some myself
and I can't find anything that lines up with this other than the one you
already found (ie. early troubleshooting steps were looking at file
permissions/etc. ... but in the end reinstalling libgmime is what fixed
it). A few other segfaults on daemon startup issues were fixed at times
in the past... a little more recently would be this thread:
http://mailman.fastxs.net/pipermail/dbmail-dev/2006-May/008900.html
On that thread the dbmail-users connects to the db but get a sement
fault while trying to access a message.
In my case dbmail-users doesn't seam to connect at all at leased as
far es I can tell.
Anything else someone can think of? I just hope someone takes a look
at the gdb output and just has the answer.
What else can I do? Can I switch to a different db. Paul says that
sqlight isn't quite ready but maybe I can move to pgsql for the time
being.
Could I rescue all my data in mysql you know like transfer it over to
pgsql if pgsql works that is?
