I've had thoughts of creating a stored proceedure/function to do some processing based on customer account status and if valid I would return the user_idnr, otherwise, pretend they don't exist.
I'll probably end up modifying the code, but I do something like that in FreeRadius and being able to just set the select query in the config file is helpful. I thought we talked about this once and you said you might add that ability. Even cooler would be customizable responses for say the POP and IMAP servers to say "Hey deadbeat pay your bill and I'll give you your Email." (I'm sure marketing would approve that.) -- David A. Address resolving and rewriting during delivery is no trivial matter. It is a narrow ledge on a steep ridge with loops on one side, and nasty bounces on the other. Better bring a chute. I still say: Mark, fix your MTA config. Don't rely on dbmail's address resolution for more than basic things. -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul Stevens paul at nfg.nl NET FACILITIES GROUP GPG/PGP: 1024D/11F8CD31 The Netherlands________________________________http://www.nfg.nl _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list DBmail@dbmail.org https://mailman.fastxs.nl/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
