I have both Dbmail and the mysql database in the same machine. Plz help me with mail client program available for this in Postfix/ dbmail. I find a program by name sendmail along with postfix. Does it have same syntax as the one packed with sendmail MTA?
Yes it has the same syntax, because otherwise other scripts would also break when switching from one MTA to the other.
However, keep in mind, mailing the mysql dump of your database to a user who is in the database does not make sense ;)
