After much reading and asking of questions in a heap of IRC rooms I have finally got dbmail going with dbma and squirrelmail. Spam+Virus scanning to come. Full documentation is forthcoming once we have verified that the process can be replicated.
My question is: How can I setup dbmail to use the email address instead of the user ID to login and get emails. It just seems more logical to have the user login with their email address rather than some other login ID. I am sorry if this is covered somewhere, but I haven't found the documentation yet.
