No probably it's just make && make install anyway, the "problem" are
the dependencies between different software and future upgrade, so,
no, I will wait.
Hopefully it should come out pretty soon.

There were a *lot* of fixes between 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 that affect
this behaviour.
It really shouldn't be *that* hard to compile from source, should it?
