Also ubuntu gutsy (7.10 due out this month) is complaining about the current packages, i think they changed the version of apt they are using for it and its using a 256 bit doohicky where debian is using a 128 bit whatsit. I'll get some more details later, its something to do with verifying the packages.
also you need to edit /etc/default/dbmail to enable the services you want.

Might want to mention it somewhere more prominent in the docs, i found it by looking at the init scripts or something.
