i noticed a problem which does expose a data-loss problem maybe. usually i do get mail via pop3 (outlook, iphone, notebook). but noone of these does delete mail (setting keep copy on server). the problem is that at 4AM when maintanance runs (dbmail-util) all already-read-mails are deleted by dbmail-util!!!! first i thought maybe a bug of some application, so i did check outlook, the iphone and even the notebool (with OL on it). no matter what application. the mails are "marked for delition". could please someone check this?! Maybe nobody noticed this yet, because many ppl dont keep their mails on the server or they are using imap only.... some information: used database: MySQL4 DBMAIL version: 2.2.10 (but older versions are affected too!) debugging is bit much, since this is a production server and i dont know exactly where to look at. is it a problem in the util? it is a problem in pop3?! or maybe some co-problem between pop3 and imap daemon?!
