hello

thanks for your reply

i have not found 'version.h' in the gentoo mhask package
(app-crypt/mhash-0.9.9.9).
i did found VERSION defined in /usr/include/mutils/mhash_config.h.
i have commented that define and compiled from the git sources
dbmail executables now report
        This is DBMail version 3.0.0-rc1

regards

john

hello

i have just compiled dbmail v3.0.0rc1.

the version number is incorrect and the copyright text is not the latest
when using the '-V' commandline option.

E.g.

john@blackhole ~/Development/dbmail-3.0.0-rc1 $ src/dbmail-util -V
This is DBMail version 0.9.9

This is fallout from a broken mhash installation on your system. Mhash
typically distributes a version.h file which it should *not*. Nuke that
file and rebuild dbmail, and it will report the correct version.

Mhash is unmaintained software and hopefully I'll be able to drop it
completely.

Ok, thanks. Fixed now.
