If you want to write a firebird driver you need to:
- add a firebird driver to libzdb
- add a schema for firebird in sql/firebird/create_tables.sql
- update the backend-specific sql dialect snippets in src/dm_db.c
(db_get_sql) for firebird
Writing a backend driver to libzdb is not very difficult, but the code
quality of libzdb is *very* high. Using the mysql or postgresql drivers
as documentation should provide you with a lot of examples.
