hi.
I had this already for 3.1.2 but forgot to mail it so doing it now:
Gentoo Portage does check for things like this and print it at the end
of an install:
* QA Notice: Package triggers severe warnings which indicate that it
* may exhibit random runtime failures.
* dbmail-message.c:2629:7: warning: the address of 'val' will always
evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
* dbmail-message.c:2631:12: warning: the address of 'val' will always
evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
* dm_misc.c:2301:8: warning: the address of 'hash_algorithm' will
always evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
* dm_misc.c:2303:13: warning: the address of 'hash_algorithm' will
always evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
* dm_misc.c:2305:13: warning: the address of 'hash_algorithm' will
always evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
* dm_misc.c:2307:13: warning: the address of 'hash_algorithm' will
always evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
* dm_misc.c:2309:13: warning: the address of 'hash_algorithm' will
always evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
* dm_misc.c:2311:13: warning: the address of 'hash_algorithm' will
always evaluate as 'true' [-Waddress]
Just thought I let you know. I did not look at the code doing this yet,
but it probably would be good to fix these warnings.
Prolly rather low priority though.
Regards
