Hi all,
I'm sorry to inform you that there is a rather serious problem with
3.1.3 which can lead to corrupted messages in clients.
Do you mean corrupted in clients only or on the server too?
Since i mostly exclusively use roundcube (and maildroid on my phone)
I did not have any of those issues recently -- in fact maildroid works
better now than before [it did not load all message contents a while
back,
and i think it works better after some of those imap fixes])
My mail server is only used by me and my wife so as long as the messages
on the server are "safe" I would like to stay on 3.1 since the IMAP SORT
fix is quite important for me to have search in roundcube ;)
Please do not upgrade to 3.1.x if you were planning to do so.
If you have upgraded recently: the schema is compatible with 3.0.2 so
it
is safe to downgrade. If that is not an option, keep your fingers
crossed. The problem only happens under severe pressure with many
concurrently connected users. I've been working very hard to track this
problem down, and fix it. As soon as I and my testers are happy, I'll
release 3.1.4 - which I expect to happen very soon: later this week.
That said. I do not mind doing some - low load- testing as well if it
helps.
(just try not to corrupt my emails on the server ^^)
