As has been said there is no way to easily regress to dbmail 2.x. from 3.x Personally I am seriously beginning to think I need to go back to 3.0.2 as the more reliable option. It had some hiccups but 3.1.x has been causing a lot of problems.
I've been restarting dbmail 3.1.7 once a day because of the memory leaking but still it has "frozen up" and refused new connections on occasion without any error reported.
