This being the first time I tried to use git I read your git usage
suggestions at http://dbmail.org/index.php?page=download, viewed your
http://git.dbmail.eu/paul/dbmail/ page and deduced what I needed to do.
Locally I homed in to some working directory and ran
git clone git://git.dbmail.eu/paul/dbmail
cd dbmail
git checkout -b dbmail_3_1 origin/dbmail_3_1
git pull
and re-configured/compiled/installed DBmail.
I acknowledge you've fixed the problem I reported.
