Hi Paul,

I've raised:- http://www.dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=1045

I'm not sure if the changes to POP3 have had an adverse affect on imap somehow?
(maybe libdbmail?) Since the pop3 patch pop3d has been stable and no issues
thus far but imapd has been the opposite and very unstable and segfaulting.
Not sure if this is a coincidence or not.

Best regards,

James Greig

Excellent!

Please try:

Either libevent is buggy on your system, or write(2) is behaving unexpectedly
on fbsd. Apparently libevent things the client socket is ready for writes, but
it keeps getting a 'Resource temporarily unavailable' when it actually tries to
write.

Since this happens during a bailout where a client is disconnected, or
disconnecting, I'm now allowing only a limited amount of write failures.
After a 100 subsequence failed attempts it simply drops all data queued for
that client and disconnects, period.
