Hi,
is there any explanation of the confidence filter available for the
statistical backend?
the description in the wiki does not explain much.
https://github.com/dbpedia-spotlight/dbpedia-spotlight/wiki/Statistical---Web-Service-Parameters
/Selects all entities that have a percentageOfSecondRank greater than
the square of value informed./
this explanation is wrong or?
as far as I understand it is different to lucene approach.
the statistical backend calculates some score and this is filtered by
confidence value.
(method surfaceFormMatch in DBSpotter.scala)
the score is a weighted feature sum?
(Some(sf), weights dot DBSpotter.spotFeatures(spot, p))
regards
Reinhard
