Have you tried the statistical backend? There is a pre-built Portugese
model available in the downloads section
<http://spotlight.sztaki.hu/downloads/>. This should be relatively easy
to try, and you will probably get results that make more sense.
If the statistical implementation with the pt.tar.gz model still gives
unexpected results, please let us know.

P.S. something probably went wrong with building the Portugese models
for the Lucene-backed implementation. My experiences with the Lucene
implementation on Dutch texts have at least been good.

But for my surprise, the results came for English language and they

I'd like to know if there's something that I can do to make Spotlight
work before on Portuguese language and only if there's nothing for
Portuguese search in English resources.
