Absolutely! I'm a current candidate for a sociocultural anthropology MA (With
an engineering undergrad) and would like to use DBpedia in the context of
computational Social Sciences. It was particularly this ontology that inspired
me: http://dbpedia.org/ontology/Philosopher and the frustration that such an
ontology did not yet exist for social scientists and anthropologists in
particular.
