I'm also following this project.

DBpedia already has an extractor that uses the wikidata dumps directly in
order to produce dbpedia sameas wikidata links. However it might be
interesting to compare the two just for fun and other purposes.
Here is a very simple shell script I was playing around with [1]. It
outputs DBpedia sameAs Wikidata triples based on the dbpedia2freebase
alignment and freebase2wikidata. The script can be modified for other
purposes, one could generate dbpedia sameas freebase links out of it
without downloading the freebase dump (if one wants to rely on the samsung
sameas files).

I found the schema matching part more interesting, however those files seem
to be DRM encrypted and I can't open them. Do you have the same problem
[2][3] ?
