@Peter as described in the "Get in touch" page [1], indeed the best option is the Slack channel. You can easily join the DBpedia Slack here [2] and then, after joining the #dev-team, you'll should able to see its past messages since Feb. 4th 2016, the date it was created. And you'll also be able to use the app search on this history and so on.
