Thanx.. Upgrading the driver to 3.1 did the trick (was still on 3.0)..

Mhm, this is my setup:
Windows XP SP2
Java 5
MySql 4.1.16 (Windows Essentials Version)
MySql Connector/J 3.1.12
I would think it has to do with the JDBC driver, could you try the 3.1
driver (unless you're already doing so) ?
