Daniel Lopez updated DDLUTILS-87:
---------------------------------
Attachment: DDLUtils-TableNameRegExpFilter.patch
A patch file with the addition of a new parameter, tableFilter, to the
databaseToDdl task and associated methods. This parameter is a regular
expression that will be matched against all table names to decide whether they
are processed or not [using tableName.matches(tableFilter)].
Here is it an example of usage:
**********************************
<databaseToDdl
usedelimitedsqlidentifiers=...
shutdowndatabase=...
modelname=...
tableFilter="TTST_.*"
>
...
**********************************
In the example, just the tables starting with TTST_ will be read and processed
> Add ability to specify which tables to include/exclude when reading a model
> from the database

> On SQL Server dtproperties is a system table.
>
> But DdlUtils did not filter it out like it does for other system tables like
> syscolumns, sysfiles, sysindexes, and so on.
> Some people reported that it's also a issue in PostgreSQL 8.1
