Either Jerry or John Sher was interviewed about this show. Here is my recollection:
Sher convinced Jerry to do a solo tour following the Dead tour Spring 82. The 4/10/82 show was a test drive. Jerry, notorious for having stagefright, was scared shitless at the Capital and insisted on having John Kahn accompany him. Thus the tour posters promoting Jerry solo for what turned out to be Garcia & Kahn shows. Marc
