i have just recived from a friend of mine a cd labled "anthem in mono". the sound is fabulous, but in mono. i know that by the late 60s/early 70s the recording industry had mostly faded out mono recordings, but used to distribute them to radio. so i guess my question would be, is what i have been given truly mono, a radio promotional item, or i it possible that this is just a recording by someone who cant do a stereo transfer??? the recording sounds fabulous, and is the remixed version, and i have found proof of the existance of the original mix in mono. i figured if anywhere could help me, it would be this site
