Just a brief note to say that I saw the five-piece version at the
(rather empty) Cafe au Go-Go in NYC on something like Thursday 8th June
1967 (stone cold sober).
The first set opened with Beat It On Down the Line, Golden Road,
Minglewood and Cream-Puff War. This was followed by Cryptical
Envelopment, New Potato Caboose and Born Cross-Eyed. The second set was
Alligator/Caution Do Not Stop. Otherwise, Pigpen laid way back all
evening.
