Am I the only person who is peeved that the band released the 1969 Fillmore shows? I have them all from trades, but the limited edition is sold out, which is a bummer, and since they were released we can no long trade or distribute the trader shows. And I think that is overall a LOSS for the band. Some of those shows were the surest way for someone to "get on the bus," so to speak, when we wanted to get them started. What's next, Giza and Barton/Cornell?

I don't want to disparage Deadbase, I love my old copies, but zillions of shows have come into circulation since Deadbase X was published in 1997. I am pretty confident our setlist is correct. Our setlists mostly come from tapes and some come from people who've had access to the grateful dead archives. I think this one came from a combination of both sources. The best way to do this is to scan it if your scanner is big enough (though it sounds like yours might be about 8.5 x 11? Very easy to scan something that size). 300 dpi is best but really anything is fine (I lower the resolution to 72 or 100 dpi for posting on the web anyway but I like to have the high-res images for my hard drive). If you can't scan then a digital camera is the next best route. You can email any contributions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> . Let me know if you want credit for the image on the site. And any tales you have of the show or how you got the poster, etc. are also welcome. And thanks!
