According to deadlists (and my own poster site which shall soon be updated) the 8/5/66 show was played at the Afterthought in Vancouver (8/6/66 is also listed but they apparently did not play that night).
According to the guy who ran the Afterthought, Jerry Kruz, the 8/5/66 show was actually played at Pender Auditorium. There's some discussion of it at http://burnerboys.pbwiki.com/Easter+Be-In. Also Bob Masse's commemorative poster for the show, http://www.deadlists.com/posters/1966/19660805.html, clearly states it was at Pender Aud. (though presented by The Afterthought).
