Iver - Maybe there were some UK/Europe shows in the works which got cancelled. I wonder if that is why the schedule got kind of strange about then.
DS 10/11/68 McLeod, Iver J Fri, 12 May 2006 10:58:36 -0700 I ran across an interesting ad here: http://www.posterscene.com/popup.cfm?page=item_detail&itemoid=19683 It's a listing of upcoming performances at The Roundhouse, a music club in London in the late 60s/early 70s. They indicate the GD are to play there (w/ Fairport Convention) on 10/11-12/68 (never mind what the caption on the webpage says, he's wrong). Obviously they didn't play there then but I don't recall ever reading about them planning a UK/Europe tour in 1968. Does anybody know if they did? Iver
