Hi,
am doing some "duh, did this really happen man" remembrances and am
having difficulty; nothing new.
Was the California Hall on Polk St., the one which was on an upper
floor, used to be a dance hall, H.A. threw their birthday bash there
in 66? Remember being in a venue and staring down out the rounded
windows at the line of gleaming steel bikes parked from street to
street and the bar across the street doing a horribled business cause
there was free beer being given out upstairs - stand at the back and
soon enough a cold one would be handed back.
If I'm wrong, what was the name of the place?
