[deal.ii] How can I plot a mesh with polynomial degree showing on it?

Dear Deal.II users

Do you happen to know how can I show an hp-adaptive mesh with polynomial
degrees showing on it?

I know GMV can distinguish the polynomials by different colors.
But can we do it in a black&white figure, like putting the polynomial
degrees in the middle of each element?
