I think we never fully tested what happens when someone gives --with-boost on the command line. What happens if you do --with-boost=/path/to/boost ? At least this is how I guess it is supposed to work... > Changing the path "../libs/thread/src/pthread/once.cpp" > to ../contrib/boost/libs... do not help... What happens then? What's the compiler error message?
