All, 6.3.0 had a number of issues that prevented people to compile and/or use it on a number of combinations of operating system/compiler. I think we've fixed everything that we heard about -- in particular the ones listed in the "General" section here http://www.dealii.org/developer/doxygen/deal.II/changes_after_6_3.html as well as the second point in the "deal.II" section.
Are there any other issues that you are aware of? If those of you who have access to a Mac or Windows system (or anything other "quirky", non-linuxy) could give the current 6.3 branch at http://www.dealii.org/svn/dealii/branches/releases/Branch-6-3/deal.II a try that would also be much appreciated! If there are no other issues we hear of, Guido and I will try to get out 6.3.1 before I leave on Monday, or by the end of next week at the latest.
