Dear PETSc/SLEPcWrappers Users,
The new SLEPc version is out: 3.1-p0 today which is compatible with
PETSc-3.1-p* and deal.II-6.4.pre. Please do update your PETSc and SLEPc
libraries, we have a done alot of testing to get this working and we are
pleased with the result. (Backward compatibilty is preserved).
The dealii::SLEPcWrappers as of dealii-dev r21609 give a handle on two new
solvers:
(i) POWERSolver (which is the oldest SLEPc solver);
(ii) DAVIDSONSolver, which is new to all of us;
and
(iii) A tweak to dealii::SLEPcWrappersTransformationBase
The compilation of deal.II with SLEPc works fine for me on gcc (with and
without MPI) on a Linux box. Thanks to Jose E. Roman and Eloy Romero and
WB for helping to make this happen.
Please report any problems here, we'll do our best to fix them.
