Hello people!
I am trying to configure deal.II 6.1.0 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard
(v.10.6.8).
So far I have install succesfully gcc i686-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1
(GCC) 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5666) (dot 3)
from the XCode 3.2.6 package.
When I am running the "configure" script it stops when checking the
compiler flags with the following error:
------------------ checking compiler flags ------------------
checking for CPU to optimize for... none given or not recognized
checking for consistency of CXXFLAGSG flags... configure: error:
invalid combination of flags!
Do you have any ideas what might be going wrong?
I must say here that deal.II 7.0.0 can be (and has been) installed on
the same machine without
any problems!!!!
Please enlight me!
