OKLAHOMA----new execution date

Execution date set


The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals on Thursday set an Aug. 19
execution date for an Oklahoma City man convicted of beating to death his
girlfriend's 2-year- old daughter.

Windel Ray Workman was convicted of 1st-degree murder in the beating death
of Amanda Holman, his girlfriend's daughter, in 1987 in Oklahoma City.
