Accused Killer's Family Pleads For His Life -- Richard Johnson Admits To
Diposing Of Woman's Body
Richard Johnson's sister took the stand Monday and asked a jury to spare
her brother from the death penalty.
His sentencing hearing began Monday; Johnson was found guilty of killing
Tammy Hagin back in 2001. Hagin's mutilated body was found in a canal in
the Savannahs off Midway Road.
Johnson admits to wrapping Hagin's body in chains and trying to dispose of
it, but he says he did not kill her.
