Subject: Death Penalty Website

I am a student in a Sentencing and the Death Penalty class. I am trying to
research accounts of death row inmates who have undergone psychological
or sociological changes while on death row. Essentially, I am trying to
make the argument that the people that receive the death penalty
sentenced are not the same people when they are eventually executed.
Part of my paper will explore the legal issues with the timing and
process of death penalty cases, but I would also like to focus on the
immense changes a person goes through while on death row.

Unfortunately, my research is not progressing very far, as I cannot seem
to find the right materials, either biographies, autobiographies, or just
written accounts, of stories of death row inmates who have undergone
extreme changes, such as acquired an education, undergone religious
conversion, or simply changed as a person.

Do you either (1) have some information that might help lead me in the
right direction or (2) have some contacts from your website or listserv
that might help.

In advance, I thoroughly appreciate any help you can give me whatsoever.
I can be contacted at [email protected].

Thank you!!
