IE6 implementiert den compact-policy teil der P3P Specification[1]. Dieses kompakte Datenschutzvokabular wird nur f�r cookies verwendet. Der user kann seine Pr�ferenzen setzen und wenn die P3P-Privacy Policy der site schlechter ist als seine Pr�ferenzen, dann wird der cookie der site geblockt. Dass Microsoft nun via P3P jemand zu MSN umleiten kann, glaube ich nicht, denn alles basiert auf einem offenen Standard (http://www.w3.org/P3P/) Die Recommendation sieht eine Umleitung aber gerade nicht vor. Dar�ber hinaus sind die Pr�ferenzen und das Verhalten von IE offen gelegt[2]. Bisher arbeiten beide traut in meiner WG zusammen. Ich halte das f�r einen Hoax. Allerdings wird hier sehr sch�n gezeigt, dass Transparenz der Sammelpraxis durch P3P im Online-Umfeld Auswirkungen haben kann. Hier ist allerdings erst ein kleiner Teil von P3P implementiert. Wenn es vollst�ndige Implementierungen in Browsern gibt, hoffe ich, dass es wirklich zu einer Verbesserung des Datenschutzes im Netz durch Konkurrenzdruck gibt. Das Unabh�ngige Landeszentrum f�r Datenschutz in SH ist ja auch an der Entwicklung von P3P beteiligt.
